New features streamline halftone proofing Kodak has made operation of the Kodak Approval Digital Color Imaging System even easier. Our newest version of Kodak Proofing Software includes automatic updating Kodak Recipe Color Technology libraries, as well as automatic placement of color bars.
Support for halftone and inkjet proofing devices Kodak Proofing Software provides a common user interface for both the Kodak Approval System and Kodak’s inkjet proofing systems, which can generate proofs on actual production substrates for highly accurate prediction of press results.
One-click proofing with more media than ever Kodak Proofing Software is now compatible with a wide range of proofing media. The software helps ensure optimum performance and consistency by providing online access to well over 100 media profiles, including over 50 industry standard certifications, making it easy to download the media configurations specific to your proofer and media, and to print. New media and profiles are added weekly.
Accurate imposition proofing Kodak Proofing Software now offers the ability to substantially improve double-sided imposition proofing. By using new algorithms that correct for paper skew and a newly designed double-sided media guide, the software attains exceptional front-to-back registration of +/– 1 mm with Epson 9900 Printers.
